Can I install the Jewel TV app on my device?
✅ YES — if you have one of these:
• Android TV / Google TV
• Amazon Fire TV / Firestick
• Android phone or tablet
❌ NO — not currently supported:
• Apple TV
• iPhone / iPad
• macOS / Safari-only devices
Note: Jewel TV Media is currently developing new apps for Apple TV, LG Smart TV, Samsung TV, and Roku TV. These platforms are scheduled for testing and submission in mid-2026. In the meantime, Jewel is fully available on Android TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android mobile devices.
How to Install the Jewel App
Welcome to the official Jewel App installation guide! Follow the steps below to get Jewel up and running on your device quickly and safely. We’ve included options for Android devices, Google TV / Android TV, and Amazon Fire TV.
1. Android Devices (Mobile & TV)
The easiest way to install Jewel on Android devices is via the Google Play Store. This works for most smartphones, tablets, and Android/Google TVs that support the Play Store.
2. Amazon Fire TV
If you have an Amazon Fire TV device, you can install Jewel from the Amazon Appstore.
3. Check Compatible Devices (Optional)
While most Android devices can install Jewel via the Google Play Store, some Android TVs may have limited access. You can check whether your device is officially supported by downloading our compatibility list.

4. Tips & Troubleshooting
- Ensure your device is connected to the internet before installing.
- If you don’t see the app in the store, check the compatible device list.
- For Smart TVs, confirm your Play Store or Amazon Appstore is up-to-date.
- If all else fails, restart your device and try again.
I installed the app but can’t find it on my TV
If you installed Jewel on your Android TV but cannot see it, check your app library or “All Apps” section.
Some TVs hide newly installed apps until the device is restarted.
Try restarting the TV or using the search function to locate “Jewel TV.”
If the problem persists, make sure your Android TV version is supported (minimum version 9).
I’m using Apple TV / iPhone / iPad
Jewel TV isn’t currently available on Apple TV, iPhone, or iPad.
We are actively developing apps for Apple TV, LG, Samsung, and Roku, with testing planned for mid-2026.
You can watch Jewel today on Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, or Android mobile devices.
The app says “installed” but doesn’t appear
This usually occurs when the app is downloaded but not pinned to the home screen.
Navigate to your app drawer or library, locate “Jewel TV,” and move it to the home screen for easy access.
Restarting the TV often resolves temporary display issues.
I’m not sure what device I have
Check your device settings to find the model name and operating system.
For Android devices: Settings → About → Device Name / OS Version
For Fire TV: Settings → My Fire TV → About. Once identified, check if your device appears in our supported device list.
My device isn’t listed as supported
Please check the full list of supported devices [Link also found in item 3 above].
If your device is not on the list, it may not be compatible at this time.
We are continuously expanding support, and your device may be included in future updates. You might also want to consider getting a fire stick as seen in next section below?

5. Turn your regular TV into a Smart TV
Use a simple plug-in streaming device that turns almost any TV into a smart TV, ideal for watching Jewel.
If you do not have a compatible device to watch Jewel on a full screen monitor, there is the option to transform most TV’s into a Smart TV device by simply using an external stick that inserts into the HDMI port of your device. Please carefully check your device to ensure that option will work before purchasing one of the following products. You will also generally need a good HDMI cable and an Internet connection with good network coverage.
